Palmer Freeman Luckey (born September 19, 1992 in Long Beach , California ) is an American entrepreneur and founder of Oculus VR and inventor of the Oculus Rift , a virtual reality headset .

Life

Because of his dissatisfaction with the situation of virtual reality devices at the time, Luckey went to the Institute for Creative Technologies at the University of Southern California in mid-2011 to develop a prototype there. At the same time, he began to experiment in his garage.
