The Palua is an East Timorese river in the Maubara administrative office ( Liquiçá municipality ). Like most of the smaller rivers in North Timor , the Marae falls dry outside of the rainy season.

The Palua rises in the center of the Sucos Vatuvou . It flows north and soon reached the Savu Sea , in the east of the village he Raeme and Maubarasees flows. Smaller tributaries merge with the river.
