The Panagyurishte nunatak ( Bulgarian нунатак Панагюрище nunatak Panagyurishte ) is a 150 m high and rocky nunatak on Greenwich Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises 2.8 km south of the Crutch Peaks , 3.4 km west-southwest of Sevtopolis Peak and 1.4 km northeast of Kersebleptes-Nunatak .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in the course of surveying the Tangra Mountains on the neighboring Livingston Island between 2004 and 2005. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2005 after the town of Panagyurishte in central Bulgaria .
