Stage locations of the Pandurensteig

The Pandurensteig is a long-distance hiking trail of 173 km between Waldmünchen and Passau and leads in several stages through the Upper Palatinate Forest and the Bavarian Forest . The climb is intended to commemorate the route that the Pandurs took through the Bavarian Forest in their campaign in the War of the Austrian Succession in 1742 .

  1. Stage: Waldmünchen - Cham (23 km)
  2. Stage: Cham - Prackenbach (32 km)
  3. Stage: Prackenbach - Patersdorf (18 km)
  4. Stage: Patersdorf - Rinchnach (24 km)
  5. Stage: Rinchnach - Spiegelau (17 km)
  6. Stage: Spiegelau - Perlesreut (26 km)
  7. Stage: Perlesreut - Fürsteneck (15 km)
  8. Stage: Fürsteneck - Passau (19 km)

The mark

The trail is marked by a saber on a red background, an allusion to the classic Pandur weapon.
