Pangasius humeralis is a species of fish belonging to the genus Pangasius within the shark catfish family. The species is only known from the Kapuas Basin on West Borneo .

features

Pangasius humeralis differs from all other species of the genus by an enlarged mammary gland and a conspicuous process of the humerus , which extends over almost two thirds of the body length to the dorsal fin. The eye is small. The gill trap has 19 to 22 rays. Outwardly, the species is very similar to Pangasius nieuwenhuisii , but the snout is less pointed and the pectoral fins are shiny black. The body length is up to 40 cm.
