Pangasius lithostoma is a species of fish in the genus Pangasius within the shark catfish family. The species is only known from the Kapuas Basin in western Borneo .

features

Pangasius lithostoma reaches a body length of at least 22 cm. The species differs from other Pangasius species in that it has palatal dentition, which consists of a single, large, convex tooth plate on the palatine bone , which clearly extends down into the mouth. The humeral gland is only moderately large and the process of the humerus is short. The anal fin has 40 to 41 soft rays. The gill trap has 22 to 26 rays on the first arch. The body has no pattern. The fins are dark.
