Mosca Barberis celebrated her greatest successes in the 1996/97 European Cup season . This winter, the Italian also took part in two World Cup runs, but stayed outside of the points.

After she could not contest any races in the entire winter of 1997/98, she took part in two World Cup descents again in December 1998 and took her only World Cup points with 29th place in Veysonnaz . In the 1999/2000 European Cup season she only got one point in the points and in January 2000 the Italian ended her career.
