Papadianika ( Greek Παπαδιάνικα ( n. Pl. ) Also Pappadianika) is a village in the municipality of Asopos in the municipality of Monemvasia in the Greek region of Peloponnese . Together with Karavostasi and Plytra it forms the local community Papadianika ( Topiki Kinotita Padadianikon Τοπική Κοινότητα Παπαδιανίκων), with a total of 1906 inhabitants (2011) the most populous local community in the district.

location

With 37.667 km² the largest community of the municipality of Asopos is located on the Laconian Gulf in the west of the Laconian Peninsula. Neighboring local communities are Asopos and Finiki in the north, Agios Dimitrios in the west and Demonia in the south.

structure

The rural community Papadianika was founded in 1912 when it separated from the community of Asopos. It initially consisted of Papadianika and the village of Plytra, in 1940 the Karavostasi settlement was recognized. With the merger of the rural communities Asopos, Finiki and Papadianika to the municipality of Asopos in 1996, the place Papadianika became the administrative seat of the new municipality. Since the administrative reform in 2011, Papadianika has had the status of a local community ( Topiki Kinotita Τοπική Κοινότητα).
