text

Despite its late date of origin, it is an important manuscript and an excellent testimony for the book of Acts. The Greek text of the Codex represents the Alexandrian text type . Aland described him as "strict text" and placed it in Category I a. Like Codex Sinaiticus , Codex Alexandrinus , Codex Vaticanus , E, Ψ and Byz, the manuscript does not contain the text from Acts 15:34.

In Acts 20:28 stands του κυριου (of the Lord ) - A C * D E Ψ 33 36 453 945 1739 1891 instead of the Alexandrian του Θεου ( God ) or the Byzantine του κυριου και του Θεου ( the Lord and God ).

The name of the island Καυδα in Acts. 27:16 is only supported by Vaticanus , 1175 , Old Latin versions, the Vulgate, and the Peshitta . Otherwise it is called Κλαυδα or Κλαυδην

Repository

The manuscript is currently kept in the Bibliotheca Bodmeriana (P. Bodmer XVII) in Cologny .
