Andreas Dittert (* 13. July 1967 ) is a from Austria originating handball player . He mostly played on the left back position .

The 1.93 meter tall Andreas Dittert played for the clubs SG Handball West Wien , UHC Stockerau , from 1993 HSV Düsseldorf and from 1996 to the end of the 1998/1999 season at TV Niederwürzbach in Germany, then at the Swiss club TSV St. Otmar St Gallen .

He played in the EHF Cup and the EHF Challenge Cup with TSV St. Otmar St. Gallen . From 2013 to 2015 he worked as a trainer for the first division club HC Romanshorn and from May 2015 to March 2018 for the relegated NLB HSC Kreuzlingen.

For the Austrian men's national handball team he scored 1,089 goals in 203 games. Andreas Dittert played at the B World Cup in Austria in 1992 and the World Cup in 1993 .
