Paradela (also Paradela da Cortiça ) is a locality and former municipality in Portugal .

Paradela was a parish ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) of Penacova . On June 30, 2011 the community had 223 inhabitants on an area of 7.5 km².
The municipality consisted of the following localities:
- Cortiça
- Paradela
- Quinta da Cortiça
- Sobreira
In the course of the municipal reorganization of Portugal on September 29, 2013, the municipality of Paradela was merged with Friúmes to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Friúmes e Paradela . Friúmes became the seat of the new parish.
