The Pardue Peak is a 1,840 m high summit in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the extreme northeast of the Heritage Range in the Ellsworth Mountains, it rises from the Smith Ridge of the Founders Peaks . The Minnesota Glacier begins north of Pardue Peak and an ice-covered highlands to the west.
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of the United States Navy's own surveys and aerial photographs from 1961 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the summit in 1966 after Lieutenant Andrew Michael Pardue (1931-2016), a doctor in the Navy Flight squadron VX-6, which served in this role in the Antarctic between 1960 and 1961.
