Anne Parillaud (born May 6, 1960 in Paris ) is a French actress .
Life
Anne Parillaud originally wanted to become a lawyer . From the late 1970s, however, she made revealing appearances in romantic comedies such as Das Strandhotel (1978) and Girls - Die kleine Aufreisserinnen , the German soft sex film Patricia - once heaven and back (both 1980) or in Alain Delon's thriller Save your skin , Killer (1981) first successes as an actress.
She attracted international attention in 1990 in the role of one of the state power trained assassin in Luc Besson's action film Nikita . For this performance, Anne Parillaud received a César for Best Actress.
The attempt to gain a foothold in the US cinema in 1992 as a murderous and likeable vampire in John Landis ' Bloody Marie - a woman with a bite was unsuccessful. In 1993, the epic love story Escape from the Ice only received critical attention, but hardly from the audience. In 1998, Anne Parillaud played as Queen Anna the mother of Leonardo DiCaprio in the Hollywood film adaptation of Alexandre Dumas ' The Man in the Iron Mask . Anne Parillaud, who hardly talks about her private life in interviews, has a daughter with Luc Besson. She was married to the French composer Jean Michel Jarre from May 11, 2005 to 2010 . The marriage was divorced in 2010.
