Parking War is a multi-award-winning short film that was created in the course of a student course at the Ruhr University Bochum in the Department of Theater, Film and Television Studies (TFF), which was organized by the cameraman in the production.

Harald Paumer not only wrote the script , but also directed , produced and edited . Josua Vogelbusch worked on the script and was involved as a cameraman and project consultant. Jörg Illigen was involved in the lighting and as a camera assistant. The shooting location was Mülheim an der Ruhr .

The satirically exaggerated duel for a parking space does not require any dialogue . The expressionist images are supported by the specially composed soundtrack , which together with the camera contributes significantly to the creation of the atmosphere and the arc of tension.
