Parliamentary election in Abkhazia 2007
The parliamentary elections in Abkhazia in 2007 took place in March of that year.
The election of the deputies of the People's Assembly of the Republic of Abkhazia was carried out on the principle of majority voting . A total of 108 candidates competed. In the first ballot on March 4, 2007, 18 out of 35 MPs were elected. In the 17 other constituencies, a second ballot was necessary because no candidate had achieved an absolute majority. The turnout was 48% in the first ballot and 43% in the second ballot.

26 MPs belonging to the ethnic group of the Abkhazians to three deputies are Russians , two Armenians , two Georgians and one deputy is Turk .
