Governments

There were two governments during the legislature; both were led by David Ben-Gurion as Prime Minister. Both governments consisted of the parties Mapai, Mafdal, Achdut haAwoda, Mapam, Miflaga Progresivit and the three Arab-Israeli parties Democratic List of Israeli Arabs , Kidma VeAvoda and Hakla`ut Ufituah .
