Distribution of parliamentary seats after the election

The 2011 parliamentary elections in Croatia took place on December 4th. In the election, 151 members of the Croatian Parliament ( Sabor ) were newly elected. It was the seventh parliamentary election since Croatia's independence .

The center-left party alliance Kukuriku won an absolute majority in parliament with 81 seats; the previously ruling conservative HDZ had 47 seats. Zoran Milanović was elected Prime Minister of Croatia by Parliament on December 23, 2011 as the successor to Jadranka Kosor .
