The parliamentary elections in Tunisia in 2004 took place on October 24, 2004.
In the election, the members of the Chamber of Deputies were redefined. The presidential election took place at the same time .

The ruling party, the Constitutional Democratic Collection (RCD), won the election with 87.59% and thus had 152 of the 189 seats in parliament. The second strongest party was the Socialist Democratic Movement (MDS) with only 4.63%. The Popular Unity Party (PUP) followed in third place with 3.64%.
criticism
The election was criticized as a farce by the incoming opposition parties. The opposition had only been allocated around 20 percent of the seats in parliament.
