Partick ( Scots : Pairtick , Ersisch : Pàrtaig ) is a district of Glasgow north of the Clyde with about 33,000 inhabitants. It is known transnationally through the Partick Thistle soccer team . Partick was a village until the 18th century, and the later working-class district is now also influenced by students.
It is located at Partick train station .
