Glasgow Kelvin is a constituency for the Scottish Parliament . It was introduced in 1999 as one of ten constituencies in the Glasgow electoral region , which was redesigned as part of the constituencies' revision in 2011 and now only comprises nine constituencies. The boundaries of the Glasgow Kelvin constituency were redrawn. The constituency includes the Glasgow boroughs west of the center, including Finnieston , Garnethill , Hillhead and Partick . A representative is sent.
The constituency covers an area of 11.6 km 2 . This makes it the smallest constituency for the Scottish Parliament. In the 2011 census survey, a total of 79,334 people lived within its borders.
