Glasgow Cathcart is a constituency for the Scottish Parliament . It was introduced in 1999 as one of ten constituencies in the Glasgow electoral region , which was redesigned as part of the constituencies' revision in 2011 and now only comprises nine constituencies. At the same time, the boundaries of the Glasgow Cathcart constituency were redrawn. The constituency includes the southeastern Glasgow boroughs, including Carmunnock , Cathcart , Mount Florida and Pollokshaws . A representative is sent.

The constituency extends over an area of ​​22 km 2 . In the 2011 census survey, a total of 74,883 people lived within its borders.
