Glasgow Baillieston was a constituency for the Scottish Parliament . It was introduced in 1999 as one of ten constituencies in the Glasgow electoral region , which was redesigned as part of the constituencies' revision in 2011 and now only comprises nine constituencies. Here the constituency of Glasgow Baillieston was abolished. It included the western Glasgow boroughs, including Baillieston , Cranhill , Easterhouse , and Garthamlock, and sent one MP. Most of the areas of Glasgow Baillieston are now part of the Glasgow Provan constituency . In the 2001 census survey, a total of 66,981 people lived within its borders.
