Glasgow Provan is a constituency for the Scottish Parliament . It was introduced in 2011 as one of nine constituencies in the Glasgow electoral region , which was redesigned as part of the 2011 constituency revision. Here, the constituency of Glasgow Provan was essentially composed of the areas of the former constituencies of Glasgow Baillieston and Glasgow Springburn . It includes north-east Glasgow boroughs, including Barmulloch , Dennistoun , Easterhouse and Hogganfield . The constituency sends a representative.
The constituency extends over an area of 29.9 km 2 . In the 2011 census survey, a total of 72,896 people lived within its borders.
