Glasgow Maryhill was a constituency for the Scottish Parliament . It was introduced in 1999 as one of ten constituencies in the Glasgow electoral region , which was redesigned as part of the constituencies' revision in 2011 and now only comprises nine constituencies. Here the constituency of Glasgow Maryhill was abolished. It included the northern Glasgow boroughs, including Cadder , Gilshochill , Milton and Ruchill, and sent one MP. In the 2001 census survey, a total of 62,305 people lived within its borders. Most of the areas of Glasgow Maryhill have been incorporated into the new constituency, Glasgow Maryhill and Springburn .
