Parzeller & Co. KG is a media company in East Hesse. Fuldaer Actiendruckerei (19th century)

The company was founded in 1873 in the form of the Fuldaer Actiendruckerei . The aim was to provide the people in Fulda and the surrounding area with a regular newspaper. At that time, the high-speed press in manual operation was an innovation and formed the basis for the company's growth.

In 1933 the SA had destroyed the printing machines and many printed products of the Fuldaer Actiendruckerei and shortly afterwards the rulers withdrew the publishing house's right to publish. At the same time, first the Fuldaer Zeitung and later the Bonifatiusbote and other printed matter were banned. The publishing house was forcibly converted from an "anonymous" stock corporation to a limited partnership. At the time, Anton Schmitt was on the company's board of directors.

Company expansions and relocations finally brought Parzeller & Co. KG to its current location in Fulda. Around 210 people are employed on a production area of ​​around 20,000 square meters.

In 2013, the printing company Parzeller print & media Co. KG generated sales of € 75.99 million with 553 employees, while the entire Parzeller & Co. KG group generated € 77.57 million. The group also includes the Parzeller & Co. KG publishing house, Mediengestaltungs- und Vermarktungs GmbH & Co. KG, Medien Logistik Hessen GmbH & Co. KG, heldenzeit GmbH & Co.
