Pascal Kälin (born January 11, 1993 ) is a Swiss ski jumper .

Career

Kälin made his international debut in March 2008 at a junior competition in Bois-d'Amont . At the European Youth Olympic Festival 2009 on the Skalite ski jumps in Szczyrk , Poland , Kälin and the team took bronze after finishing sixth in the individual competition.

After a doping control in October 2011, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer, which meant that he had to interrupt ski jumping for therapy. From December 2011 Kälin started again in the Continental Cup , where he could not collect any points in the 2011/12 season .

After Kälin delivered good results in the following season, he started in the World Cup for the first time on March 17, 2013 . At the 2013 Grand Prix he initially missed the second run in Hinterzarten and Wisła , but was able to jump into the points in Nizhny Tagil and Almaty . On December 21, 2013, he jumped home from the Gross-Titlis-Schanze in Engelberg as the 30th to score his first World Cup point.
