Paso Estrecho ( Spanish for Narrow Pass ) is a pass path at sea level on the northern foothills of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . At Cape Shirreff , the northern end of the John Paul II Peninsula , it connects Punta Nacella in the west with Half Moon Beach in the east.
Scientists from the Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1990–1991) named him descriptively.
