Pasquale Quaremba

Pasquale Quaremba (born July 19, 1905 in Muro Lucano , † December 16, 1986 in Muro Lucano) was an Italian Roman Catholic bishop .

Life

Pasquale Quaremba received on 15 July 1928, the sacrament of the priesthood by the Bishop of Muro Lucano Giuseppe Scarlata .

On March 10, 1947, Pope Pius XII appointed him . to the Bishop of Anglona-Tursi . The Archbishop of Naples, Alessio Ascalesi , donated him episcopal ordination on June 30 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Caserta , Bartolomeo Mangino , and the Bishop of Muro Lucano , Giacomo Palombella . On June 20, 1956, he moved to the diocese of Gallipoli . He attended all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council . In 1979 he received the honorary citizenship of Gallipoli and on June 2, 1980 the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic .

On June 15, 1982 Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
