Patric Feest

Patric-Andreas Feest (* 1956 in Stuttgart ) is a German publisher and screenwriter .

Life

Patric Feest studied journalism and literature in Göttingen and Berlin . Together with Norbert Gravius (since 2004 federal treasurer of the PARTY ), Maruta Schmidt and Erik Weihönig he founded the decidedly left-wing Berlin Elefanten-Press-Verlag in 1977 , in which from 1988 to 2005 within the sub-publishers Georg-Büchner-Verlagbuchhandlung and Titanic- Publisher also the magazine Titanic appeared. Patric Feest is still managing director and co-partner of Titanic Verlag.

When Elefanten Press was sold to the Random House publishing group in 2000 , Feest and Gravius, Schmidt and Weihönig founded Espresso Verlag , which, in addition to its publishing business, also imports and sells coffee . Feest also writes scripts for film and television under a pseudonym and works regularly as a script doctor , ie he revises foreign scripts on behalf of film and television producers.

Patric Feest is married with one child and lives in Berlin and Paris .
