Jörg Sundermeier (born April 25, 1970 in Gütersloh ) is a German journalist and publisher .

Life

Jörg Sundermeier grew up in Verl . During his studies in Bielefeld he published his first articles in magazines. Today he publishes in the taz , the Berliner Zeitung and the Jungle World, among others . He has lived in Berlin since the 1990s .

In 1995 he founded the Verbrecher Verlag in Berlin-Kreuzberg with Werner Labisch , which he managed alone from 2011 to 2016, since then he has managed it together with his wife Kristine Listau .

In 2003 he was the initiator and main organizer of the first Left Book Days in Berlin . Initially with self-organized events by the publishers. In connection with Sundermeier's withdrawal from the organization, the concept was changed and the events were designed by a collectively organized organization team.
