Patricia Rombach

Patricia Rombach (born October 28, 1971 ) is a German lawyer . She was elected judge at the Federal Court of Justice on March 14, 2019 and appointed on September 2, 2019.

Life

She studied in Freiburg Law and was established in 2000 with a dissertation on the over-hedging in revolving Global collateral for doctorate in law doctorate . After the second state examination in law, Rombach entered the judicial service of the state of Baden-Württemberg . In 2001 she was appointed judge at the Mannheim Regional Court. The focus of her judicial work was already there on commercial legal protection , patent and copyright law , as well as antitrust law . During her three-year secondment to the Federal Court of Justice from 2004 to 2007, she was assigned as a research assistant to the Cartel Senate and the Senate for Legal Matters of the Federal Court of Justice . After her promotion to judge at the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court in 2013, she was a member of the 6th civil senate responsible for industrial property protection as well as patent and antitrust law. Since 2017, she has been working as presiding judge at the Mannheim Regional Court, initially in patent and later in cartel matters.
