Patrick Conteh

Patrick Conteh was a military man and spent four days in 1968 with John Amadu Bangura , head of state of Sierra Leone .

With his Anti-corruption Revolutionary Movement (ACRM), Conteh took power as chairman of the National Interim Council on April 18, 1968, ending a long period of coups . He set himself up as Prime Minister on April 19, and on April 22, 1968 handed power to a civilian government under Banja Tejan-Sie as Governor General and Siaka Probyn Stevens as Prime Minister.
