Patrick Cotti

Patrick Cotti (born November 23, 1962 ; resident in Lavizzara ) is a Swiss politician (non-party; alternative - the Green Train ).

Life

Cotti studied German , musicology and literary criticism at the University of Zurich and graduated with a licentiate . He then worked primarily in the social field, including in the Frankental drug station and at a regional employment agency, and between 1989 and 1992 was an editor for various newspapers in the canton of Zug. From 1999 to 2006 he took over the management of the prison in Zug .

From 1999 to 2004 he was in the Great council of the city train . At that time he was still non-party , but belonged to the faction of the Alternative Canton Zug . From 2005 to 2007 he was on the board of this party. From January 2007 to 2010 he was a member of the Zug government council , where he headed the Directorate for Education and Culture. He was not re-elected in 2010. After being voted out of office, Cotti used the time to do a postgraduate course in corporate management at the University of Basel. He then became the new director of the career center of the city of Zurich on December 1, 2011. On August 1, 2017, Cotti became director of the Swiss Competency Center for Prisons (SKJV).

Cotti is married and has three children.
