Patrick d'Assumçao (born June 1, 1959 in Nantes ) is a French actor .

Life

Patrick d'Assumçao was regularly employed as a theater actor from the beginning of the 1990s and regularly found various theater engagements across the country in order to be able to work full-time.

Although he appeared in an episode of the crime series Law & Order Paris in 2007 , d'Assumçao only made his screen debut in 2010 at the age of 51 with a small supporting role as barman in the action comedy Coursier directed by Hervé Renoh . Since then he has worked in more than 40 film and television productions, for which he has been nominated for several renowned film prizes and has also received a few awards. For his portrayal of Henri in Alain Guiraudie erotic thriller Stranger by the Lake , he was at the César in 2014 as a Best Supporting Actor nomination.
