Patrick Haag (born March 9, 1990 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) is a German soccer player who was last active for Jahn Regensburg until 2014 .

career

Patrick Haag started playing football in the youth team of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim , in whose U-19s he made five games in the A-youth Bundesliga in 2007/08 . In 2008 he moved to the U-19 of the Karlsruher SC , where he had his first appearance in the second team of the KSC in the Regionalliga Süd in addition to another 25 Bundesliga games (two goals) . After playing at SV Waldhof Mannheim in the western season of the Regionalliga in 2009/10 and taking his first big steps in the senior division (20 games, two goals), he became a regular at the KSC U-23 over the next two years - again in the Southern season. In 2011/12 he was already training with the professionals, but an injury and a change of coach prevented his first appearance in the 2nd Bundesliga . After Karlsruhe was eliminated in the relegation against SSV Jahn Regensburg 1: 1 (away) and 2: 2 (at home) and relegated to the 3rd division , he switched to Jahn in the 2012/13 season , his first appearance in the 2nd division League as a goal. He received a two-year contract that was also valid for the 3rd division. On the first day of the match he was substituted on for Thiemo-Jérôme Kialka against TSV 1860 Munich . By the end of the season he had played 22 games in the second division and scored two goals, but with Jahn he went straight back to the third division. His contract in Regensburg ended in summer 2014. In the winter break of 2014/15, the regional league team SV Waldhof Mannheim signed the club-free Haag.
