Patrick Kodjoe

Patrick Ofuatey-Kodjoe (* 1978 in Vienna ) is a former German basketball player . He played for Bayer Leverkusen in the basketball league .

career

Kodjoe, who was born in Vienna and grew up in Gundelfingen , played in the youth of USC Freiburg , later he studied at Virginia Commonwealth University in the United States and played 75 games for the college's basketball team between 1997 and 2000. The second meter long winger recorded an average of 5.2 points and 4.6 rebounds in these encounters.

After completing his studies, he switched to the professional field and played temporarily in the 2001/02 season for the Dutch honorary divisionist Landstede Zwolle . In the course of the 2002/03 season he received a contract with Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen , for which he completed seven Bundesliga games by the end of the season and averaged one point per game.

At the beginning of the 2003/04 season he was briefly in the service of the Norwegian first division team Asker Aliens, in October 2003 Kodjoe switched to the second division club Düsseldorf Magics , was on the field in 22 point games in the shirt of the Rhinelander during the season and averaged 9.0 points as well 5.0 rebounds per bet. Also in the 2004/05 game year he was initially part of Düsseldorf's squad before he moved to the Krefeld Panthers within the 2nd basketball league during the season. He strengthened Krefeld in 26 games and scored an average of 10.2 points and 5.7 rebounds. Due to injury, he had to end his basketball career.

Together with his brother Boris , who is best known as an actor, he founded the clothing company ALFA.
