The Patrick Point is the northern tip of Cumpston massif in the Prince Charles Mountains in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It marks the place where the Mellor Glacier joins the Lambert Glacier .
It was mapped using aerial photographs taken in 1956 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after Patrick Neil Albion, a radio operator on Mawson Station in 1956.
