Patrick Reiterer

Patrick Reiterer (born September 28, 1990 in Merano ) is an Italian racing driver .

Career

Reiterer began his motorsport career in karting in 2000 , which he practiced until 2006. Among other things, he won the South German ICA Kart Championship in 2005. Having already in 2006 a single-seater had been tested, who moved South Tyrol in 2007 in the Italian Formula Renault and made his debut in Formula racing . Starting for AP Motorsport , he finished 27th in the overall standings. In 2008 Reiterer moved to the Prema Powerteam , for which he competed in the Italian Formula Renault and the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup . While he finished eleventh overall with a podium in the Italian Formula Renault, he was 27th overall in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup.

In 2009 Reiterer switched to the international Formula Master for the Swiss racing team Iris Project . With several placements in the points, the Italian finished ninth overall at the end of the season and was thus placed ahead of his teammate Simon Trummer , who was eleventh. In 2010 , Reiterer switched to the newly founded GP3 series at ATECH CRS GP , for which he completed the first two race weekends. He finished 33rd overall.
