Patrick Siegfried Zimmer
Patrick Siegfried Zimmer (born March 28, 1977 ) is a German director , author , film and music producer , singer , songwriter , graduate designer and actor . He became famous in 2003 under his musical pseudonym finn.
Career
With his songs, which were initially recorded on a four-track recorder and mostly arranged with drum computer rhythms and Mellotron strings, Zimmer is considered one of the pioneers of indietronic and a representative of the lo-fi movement. Since 2003 he has released recordings for the Hamburg independent label Sunday Service and the Belgian independent label [PIAS] . Zimmer's music was called. described as quiet, subtle, soft and yielding. He works through voice, guitar, synthesizer and drum computer.
He has been using his real name since 2011 and dropped the pseudonym finn . He worked with Robert Stadlober , Blixa Bargeld , Dirk von Lowtzow and Klaus Maeck on his first feature film Anhedonia - Narcissism as anesthesia , which was released in 2016.
