Patrick Wessely (born March 27, 1994 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player . He mainly plays as a left full-back, but occasionally also plays as a left midfielder.
Career
society
Wessely started his career at SV Langenzersdorf . In 2004 he switched to the FAC team for Vienna , where he played until 2008. In 2008 he went to the youth academy of FC Admira Wacker Mödling . In 2011 he was appointed to the squad of the second team under coach Oliver Lederer for the Regionalliga Ost. He made his debut for the professionals of FC Admira Wacker Mödling on August 3, 2013 in Grödig under coach Toni Polster .
He left Admira after the 2016/17 season.
In October 2017 he moved to Bulgaria to join Septemwri Sofia , where he received a contract valid until June 2019. In December 2017, he left the Bulgarians again. He then returned to Austria in January 2018, where he joined the Bundesliga club SKN St. Pölten , where he received a contract that ran until June 2018. After the 2017/18 season, he left St. Pölten.
After several months without a club, he moved to Belarus to FK Njoman Hrodna in April 2019 , with whom he received a contract that ran until December 2019. In July 2019 he terminated his contract with Njoman Hrodna.
National team
On October 12, 2014, Wessely made his debut in the U-21 national soccer team in a friendly against the U-21 national soccer team of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
