Patrick Wirth (born September 17, 1971 in Bezau ) is a former Austrian ski racer . He finished fifth in the Super-G at the 1996 Alpine World Ski Championships . His sister Katja Wirth also competed in ski races for the Austrian Ski Association .

Career

Wirth graduated from the Schruns main ski school and started for the SC Bezau ski club. His favorite discipline was the Super-G. In this he finished third in the 1996 Super-G in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . In the seasons 1994/95 , 1998/99 and 1999/2000 he won the discipline classification in the European Cup .
