Patrik Bojent (born December 26, 1980 in Växjö ) is a Swedish football player . Mainly as a full-back used defender , who until a name change in the summer of 2008, Patrik Karlsson was called, arrived in his career to more than a hundred missions in the Allsvenskan .
Career
Bojent started his career at Hovmantorp Goif . In 1997 he moved to Östers IF , where he first played in his youth. In the 1998 season he moved up to the squad of the men's team and made his debut in the Allsvenskan. After relegation to the second division , he was able to establish himself as a regular player in the defense and managed to return to the top class with the club in 2002. Although relegation was missed, he stayed with the club for another year.
In 2005 Bojent moved to Gefle IF in Allsvenskan. In the following two years he was a regular in defense. In his first season he never missed a game, in the second year he only had to pass once. In the 2007 season he went to league rivals AIK . Here, too, he played most of the league games in his first season and reached fifth place in the table with the club, the best position of his career to date. In the course of his second season at the traditional club, in which he changed his surname, he was only used irregularly. Therefore, he wanted to leave the club despite a contract that was valid until the end of 2009 and completed trial training at Norwegian club Aalesunds FK . Initially, however, he stayed with the club, but was only used twice under coach Mikael Stahre at the beginning of the 2009 season . In June, the club then announced that it would not renew the 29-year-old's contract. A month later he left the club and returned to the third division side Östers IF. At the end of the season he rose with the club in the Superettan, where he managed to stay with the club in the relegation games against Qviding FIF . In the 2011 season he just missed promotion to the Allsvenskan with the team around Freddy Söderberg and Joakim Wulff as fourth in the table, while he had played in 25 of the 30 season games.
