Joakim Wulff (born February 6, 1979 in Halmstad ) is a Swedish football player . The goalkeeper made his debut in Swedish professional football in 2008.
Career
Wulff comes from the youth of Veinge IF . In 1998 he joined the amateur club Laholms FK , for which he competed in the fourth division. At the end of November 2007, the second division team Falkenbergs FF announced the commitment of the goalkeeper, who was also observed by several first division teams, who signed a three-year contract. Although he had played as a second goalkeeper only three league games, he moved after just one season in the Superettan in the Allsvenskan . Coach Magnus Haglund , with whom he had already worked at Laholms FK , brought him to IF Elfsborg after the departure of goalkeeper Johan Wiland , where he was to act as a substitute goalkeeper for Abbas Hassan . At the beginning of the year, the club signed another goalkeeper, the Australian Ante Covic , behind whom Wulff established himself as number 2 and which he temporarily replaced in goal. Later came with the Danish national goalkeeper Jesper Christiansen other well-known competition, so that he changed the club after two seasons: In January 2011 he signed a three-year contract with the second division Östers IF . At his new club, he established himself as a regular goalkeeper and narrowly missed promotion with the team around Patrik Bojent , Davíð Þór Viðarsson and Freddy Söderberg at the end of the second division season 2011 - with 28 goals conceded, the club had the best defense in the league in the Allsvenskan.
