Paul Arendt (actor)
Paul Arendt ( May 17, 1853 in Potsdam - April 21, 1940 in Schwerin ) was a German theater actor .
Life
Arendt was the son of a Prussian official . After he had not found satisfaction in the commercial profession he had initially chosen, he decided in 1877 to pursue a career on stage. Without having taken any dramatic lessons, he made his debut in 1877 as “Reimann” in Hypochonder in Glogau , came to the Stadttheater Aachen in 1878 (inaugural role “Schiller” in Carlschülern ), 1879 to the Stadttheater in Stettin , 1881 to Würzburg , 1882 to the Wiener Stadttheater and joined in 1883 in the association of the court theater in Schwerin . He worked there until 1910. His life after that is unknown.
He was married to Hedwig Simmer .
