Paul Breisch
Paul Breisch (born January 26, 1974 in Esch / Alzette ) is a Luxembourg musician and cathedral organist at the Cathedral of Luxembourg . In July 2006, he was appointed by the responsible church council to succeed Maître Carlo Hommel , who died unexpectedly as a result of meningitis .
Paul Breisch is a former student of Carlo Hommel and also studied with Olivier Latry and Thierry Escaich in Paris at the Conservatoire National Supérieur, where he won seven first prizes. Since 2003 he has been professor of organ playing and Gregorian chant at the Esch / Alzette Conservatory and was also organist at the Stahlhuth - Jann - organ in the Sankt-Martins-Kirche in Dudelange .
Paul Breisch is the brother of the actress, singer and voice actress Martine Anne Breisch .
