List of Luxembourg artists

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of Luxembourg artists includes artists who are of Luxembourg nationality, were born in Luxembourg or who work or have worked as an artist in Luxembourg. Artist groups and collaborations are not listed.

The aim of the listing is to give the user an overview of the Luxembourg art scene and to verify individual artists in order to be able to assign them to their original art area.

As far as possible, the list aims to be complete. Artists from the following areas are accepted, if possible with their life data.

  • Fine arts including photography
  • performing Arts
  • literature
  • music
  • architecture

For the inclusion of an artist name in the list, the existence of relevance and reception in the art discourse is a prerequisite, i. H. an encyclopedic article about the artist must in principle be possible according to the inclusion criteria of Wikipedia, even if the article does not yet exist.
