Bertrand Ney
Bertrand Ney (born October 22, 1955 in Rodemack ) is a French - Luxembourg sculptor and painter .
Life
From 1978 Ney studied first at the École nationale supérieure d'art de Nancy and until 1985 sculpture with Pol Bury at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris . In 1986 he was naturalized in Luxembourg.
Ney has exhibited in Europe, Asia and the USA since 1984. He created public sculptures in Luxembourg, Germany, Spain, China, South Korea and the USA. In 1992 he exhibited at Expo 92 and in 1993 at the Venice Biennale . In 1994 he was awarded the Luxembourg Pierre Werner Prize . In 2001 he won first prize at the International Sculpture Symposium in Icheon (South Korea) and in 2005 he stayed at the Cité Internationale des Arts Paris . In 2010 he exhibited in the Stadtmuseum St. Wendel in Germany. He also worked on that
Sculpture symposium with stones on the river and on the road of peace . Ney is a member of the Luxembourg Grand Ducal Institute for Art and Literature and the Cercle artistique de Luxembourg .
