Fernand Roda
Fernand Roda (born June 5, 1951 in Luxembourg City ) is a Luxembourg painter.
Life
Fernand Roda attended the Düsseldorf Art Academy from 1971 to 1977 , where he studied with Joseph Beuys , whose master class he became in 1975. He moved to Düsseldorf to begin his studies.
The city of Dusseldorf commissioned several artists 1987/1988, for the underground station Heinrich-Heine-Allee , a painting in the format produce 400 × 360 cm and there permanently exhibit, including Fernand Roda.
For the 700th anniversary of the city of Düsseldorf, Fernand Roda assisted in organizing the exhibition My Time - My Predator in 1988 .
Due to his artistic merits, he was appointed Chevalier de l'ordre de Mérite du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg in 1991, which translates as the Knight's Cross .
In 1993, a painting by Fernand Roda was used as a stamp motif in the series of European stamps of the State of Luxembourg .
In 1996 he received a scholarship from the Bayerische Landesbank for his artistic skills.
