Marion Welter

Marion Welter (* 1965 in Luxemburg ) is a Luxemburgish singer .

After her vocal training at the Conservatoire de musique in Luxembourg, she sang in various groups in the fields of jazz , pop and folklore . She was selected to represent Luxembourg at the 1992 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö . With the Luxembourgish- speaking hit Sou fräi (German: So free ) together with the band Kontinent , she could only reach third from last place.

She stayed true to the music and continues to perform with bands or at musical gala concerts.
