Chris Baldo
Chris Baldo , actually Christian Henri Baldauff , (born June 24, 1943 in Luxembourg ; † January 24, 1995 there ) was a Luxembourg pop singer .
As a teenager he already had his first appearances with his beat band The Youngsters , he was discovered shortly after by the German record company Polydor . After a few years as a singer in the bands Chiens Méchants and The Rocking Robins , he became successful with German and French-speaking hits. Well-known titles were Pardon Rosalie , a vacation love and I'm not to blame for your tears .
Together with Sophie Garel he took part in the 1968 Eurovision Song Contest for Luxembourg. Her chanson Nous vivrons d'amour reached number 11. A little later Baldo became active as a radio presenter on RTL Radio Lëtzebuerg .
